Came here cos I bought the deal on Groupon recently.
Bought it at RM25 per pax (plus I got 18% off on that day yay)
Actual price would be RM35. But I heard they're doing a promotion now.
So it is still RM25 even you missed it on Groupon!

Bobogo Steamboat @ The Strand, Kota Damansara

So it is known for its 4-tier steamboat

First tier - to steam
Second tier - to keep cooked food warm
Third tier - to grill
Last tier - to cook in soup (usual steamboat) 

It was our first visit, the boss explained to us how each tier works
And suggested us the best way to cook the food

There are 4 types of soup for choice, which includes :
Clear soup, herbal soup, Tomyam soup and Hot & Spicy soup
We are not a fan of spicy food, so we had clear soup and herbal soup.
Herbal soup was mild and has strong herbal flavour.
Whereas clear soup was well-seasoned, which I liked better.

The most important aspect in buffet, the FOOD!

Crabs, prawns, different kinds of fish

Mussels, scallops, lala, siham, zhuk-tan

All sorts of vege

Marinated meats & fish, suitable for grill
Also fish and squid (not marinated) for its original taste


Tons of food for steamboat 

My favourite part of steamboat would be noodles.
Lots of choice from Yee Mee to Spinach noodle, wantan mee...

Spot udon and ramen at the fridge!

Sliced meat would be served upon order
 Chicken, beef and mutton slices available.
Limited 30 plates for each person.

Sauces counter, mix for your favourite

Tea-leaf egg also available

Free-flow beverages
Soft drinks, orange juice, herbal tea, chinese tea

Get some fruits after your meal 

As for dessert, yo-yo ice!

Nestle ice cream!

You can garnish with chocolate chips
Enjoy marshmallows with chocolate fondue!

Or drizzle on ice cream
It would freeze, just like Choco top of McD.

Dine in hour is limited to 2 hours only.
Basically it's sufficient. The seafoods are quite fresh.
Very good service from boss and waiters. 
They keep checking if you need to refill soups, and adjust the heat.
There will also be more food and BBQ outside during dinner hour.

For a buffet at this price, it's kinda valuable.
