[Food] Fried Pan Mee @ Old Klang Road

Went to teach at Happy Garden yesterday, did a bit of research on great food around the area but...thought I had no luck on them.

Coincidently saw a signboard indicating "Fried Pan Mein" on the way back.
Might as well be the one I saw on net!
Then we decided to stop by for dinner!

'Dai Shu Tou' Fried Pan Mee @ Old Klang Road

The apperance (photo took from my.openrice.com)

As the name suggests, it literally is, under a huge tree.

We ordered 'Fried Pan Mee' which is a must, and also 'Lo Mein' cos I saw vinegar on every table. It should be a popular one as well.

Vinegar (on the right), boss cooking

Fried pan mee - RM6 (small)

Lo Mein - RM6 (small)

The texture of pan mee is not as those machine-made one.
It is quite soft and flavourful. There are 2 shrimps, pork, pork lard and vege inside.
Basically fried pan mee is like switching Pan Mee into Hokkien Mee.
Rawang's 'Mun Pan Mee' is still the best.

Lo Mein does not have a lot of gravy. The noodles are soft and slurpy.
It is not sour at all so feel free to add as much of vinegar to your taste.
Pork lard makes it so aromatic and definitely more flavourful.
Wont say it as the best I ever had tho.

There is also a Thai BBQ Skewers stall next to it, costing RM2 each.
Didn't try that.

Generally, I think I had too much expectation on these.
The noodles are okay, I just wouldn't miss the taste. Haha.
